| Progressive Media announces support for Broadcom
3D mobile multimedia processor with Fatal Arena for VideoCoreII.
Aalborg, Denmark – November 2nd 2005 – Progressive Media today
announced a new high-end version the mobile 3D multiplayer fighting-game
Fatal Arena, with support for Broadcom VideoCoreII-based Mobile Multimedia
Processors.
Fatal Arena for VideoCoreII takes the mobile fighting genre to new
hights. Five characters with different skills, five beautiful
arenas, lots of moves, weapons and minigames. Using VideoCoreII 3D
graphics accelleration, Fatal Arena demonstrates the power of
next-gen mobile game graphics with stunning environments, characters
and animations rendered realtime in a constant high framerate.
Completely unique to the VideoCoreII version of Fatal Arena, the
game introduces a Photo Fight mode. Take a picture of your friend
(..or enemy) using the mobile phone camera, and fight that person
inside the game.
Earlier this year,
Fatal Arena was launched as the leading Over-The-Air-delivered 3D fighting game for
Symbian based devices in cooperation with Synergenix Interactive, a subsidiary of
Kayak Interactive.
